The cost for a single player to take the court for a season is well over $400 taking into account registration, uniform and admission fees. The cost to the club to place a team on the court includes the purchase of playing and training equipment, association fees (insurance, registration for both players and officials) and hire of courts for training.
In preparation for the 2022 season we’re focusing on club development, outlining clear pathways and providing our coaches and volunteers with the resources to support our players to identify and reach their goals.
As a not-for-profit organisation we have limited funds and we are seeking major and/or minor sponsorship to help offset the cost to our members.
Netball has a high profile in the Northern Territory, with the Darwin Netball Association premiership season running from March to September and each week over 2000 people attend as players, umpires and spectators. As a major sponsor your company logo will be prominently displayed on our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and our web site, placed on printed materials like flyers and posters and acknowledged at club events. Opportunities for uniform sponsoring are also available.
